Deciding to be an entrepreneur takes a lot of guts. It also takes slight delirium and denial. Denial of the idea a 9-to-6 (or 7,8) leads to prosperity. Delirium because you really believe that one day you can truly do what you love and get paid for it.
It can be a recipe for either greatness or disaster. Regardless of your decision, there will be times when you'll have to walk alone. Not everyone will get it. Not everyone will be empathetic towards your woes. Sometimes you'll really feel alone.
In those moments you'll find a testament of how strong you are/can be when no one gets it. Instead of fearing being alone, you'll find solitude in some peace in yourself.
I do a lot of things alone. I've come to really enjoy my me time and dates with myself. I go to matinees by myself. I take myself to dinner I shop alone on occasion.
But back to matinees. It's funny to me that people balk at me going to the movies alone. Technically at the movies I'm not going to talk during the show AND when I want to go to the movies I don't have to wait for someone else. I can just go on my time. It's pretty simple. Of all things someone wouldn't want to do alone, the movies seem to be the biggest cardinal sin. I'm not talking to you during the movie! I remember a friend and I went to the movies. She talked during the "non-speaking" parts. We never went to the movies together after that.
As this post goes from deep to comical, which was my intent, embrace being alone. You can find your peace or even your big break.
