What to expect when booking The Headshot Experience

The Headshot Experience invites you to come as you are and celebrate you. Whether it’s a new job, life transition, a milestone birthday or because you just want to, The Headshot Experience is for you!

Having fun is a core value for me and this service serves as a revival. With the portrait experience, you’ll receive a full service and receive bright and vibrant portraits!

Here are 3 things to expect when booking The Headshot Experience.

It’s a full service. It’s stressful to have to book the photographer, location, makeup artist and pay for all 3 separately. I understand how stressful it can be to have to do it all! The Headshot Experience Investment conveniently handles all three. It includes 15 professionally retouched images, mini planning session, location (my home studio) and makeup application with one of preferred commercial makeup artists! We take care of the logistics, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
Timing & Availability. There are 4 headshot experience slots per month. Each session is approximately 3.5 hours. Editing takes approximately 10-14 business days unless otherwise noted. You’ll receive access to your images via a private gallery portal.
- Hour 1 is makeup application & wardrobe
- Hour 2 is the photo shoot!
- Hour 3 you make your selections to proceed with editing!
It’s all about you. The Headshot Experience is meant to be fun! No staged desk scenes with a laptop and an empty cup. No sitting on top of kitchen counters. Just you in all of your glory. I knew that if I was going to offer portrait sessions that I wanted it to be fun, light and enjoyable. A laptop or coffee cup may make you feel like you’re impersonating someone else. This is an opportunity to show up as your full self.

Bonus: We don’t do major manipulation in the editing process. What does that mean? Professional editing (color correction and retouching) is included! But, we do not manipulate body or face features. I have a you’re beautiful as you are policy. No facetune effects over here!
