Q. We love your work! Who do you work with?
A. Darden Creative is a Black women led photo production agency. We create bright, colorful and fresh social media content for fun and inclusive brands. If you’re looking for a maternity, family or events, you’re sadly in the wrong place!
Q. Where can we see your work?

Q. What is the turnaround time from contract signing to receipt of final assets (photos & video).
A. The average turnaround time from contract signing & deposit payment to final asset delivery is 4 to 6 weeks. However, the timeline may be subject to team availability & complexity of the project.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Pricing is customized based on the scope of work, usage and other factors. We have a dynamic team of creatives, ensuring that every client is taken care of through our proven content creation process. Our signature system ensures that every client has photos that make their customers fall in love, time and time again.
Q. Do you offer payment plans?
A. Yes we do! 75% of payment is due at the contract signing & balance is due on production day.
Q. The Elephant in the room, do I own the image copyrights immediately @ after the final payment?
A. Short Answer, No. Clients do not automatically own the rights to images immediately after payment. Nor is full copyright needed to successfully use your images/videos to monetize for your business. The Federal Copyright Law of 1976 states: photographs are protected by copyright law from the moment of creation and are therefore owned by the photographer. Here is a quick breakdown of usage and how it works! Our packages ensure to include at minimum 2 years of usage across the Company Website & Social Media (Native). The client can requests additional usage, for a reasonable fee.
Q. You’re based in Washington, DC? Do you work with brands outside of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia Region)?
A. Great Question! Fun Fact 90% of our clients are based outside of the DMV Region! Clients ship their products to an address (provided during the on-boarding process). Products can be returned at client’s request. Return shipping will be covered by client as a reimbursement.
Q. Who is responsible for props?
A. Our stylist takes your shot list & mood board to curate props specifically for the photo shoot. At the end of the shoot, an invoice will be provided for prop reimbursement.
Q. What is the return policy?
A. Due to the nature of our work, all payments are non-refundable. However, we work with our clients to ensure a collaborative process with various checks & balances during our time together. This looks like completing our creative intake form, shot list & mood board review, check in on the day of your photo shoot & review of first round of edits.
